We provide simple dynamic DNS service. It's optional.
It links your public IP address to 'human' name like “demo123.rtmpminiserver.com”.
This name will be always same.
NOTE: Dynamic DNS allows save time for reconfigurate encoders if your public IP is updated
Example
Today:
Your PC have public IP for example 89.89.89.89.Also we provide dynamic DNS name for your server.For example "demo123.rtmpminiserver.com". Today this name linked to 89.89.89.89.
So you can type to encoder 89.89.89.89 or "demo123.rtmpminiserver.com" because it's synonims.
Tomorrow:
Your PC got new public IP for example 77.77.77.77. But dynamic DNS name will be same "demo123.rtmpminiserver.com"and now this name linked to 77.77.77.77So if you used DNS name then you DON't need re-configure your encoder.
Alternative way
If you have STATIC IP then we recommended create A-record for your domain, for example you can createstudio.mycompany.com and linked to your STATIC IP. So you can use studio.mycompany.com for configurate encoders.
